From September 11 to 13, 2026, the Costa del Sol will host the Marbella GP of Spain, a new round of the MotoSurf World Championship.
The championship arrives in Spain after this season’s stops in Orlando, Çeşme, Prague, Stockholm and Sebring, before moving on to the final event on the calendar, scheduled in Jinhua, China. Marbella thus becomes the only Spanish stop on the world championship in 2026.
What is MotoSurf?
Somewhere between surfing and motor sports, MotoSurf is raced on motorized boards capable of competing on courses marked out by buoys. Riders race almost shoulder to shoulder, linking turns, acceleration and overtaking moves on the water.
The result is a highly visual and fast-paced discipline in which balance, technique and speed must work together at the same time.
Over three days, Marbella will bring together international competition and some of the best specialists in this discipline, in an event that brings one of the most spectacular motorized water sports of the moment to Spain.
